Hi! I'm Steph. All my life, I've had a passion for road trips and for the cars we drive that get us there. I've combined these passions by presenting great Canadian road trips to you right here at RoadTripper.ca.
For the past eight years, my daughter and I have been road tripping together across Canada. We've discovered Canada's amazing national parks, historic sites, beaches, campgrounds, great restaurants, family-friendly attractions, nature experiences, and much more. I'm a professional automotive journalist and car reviewer, and I'm also a professional travel journalist. I'm also one of only two journalists in Canada who are members of both the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) and the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC). The other member of both associations is my partner Jay: he runs Modern Mississauga magazine and ModernTraveller.ca, and we create car reviews together on our YouTube channel, Modern Motoring.
I'm deeply honoured to have received multiple awards for my work in categories that include Adventure and Travel Journalism, Environmental Automotive Journalism, and Road Safety Journalism.
